I am working with laser systems and Laser applications since 1995 when I started as a researcher in the National Institute of Laser Enhanced Science (NILES) in the university of Cairo (see CV or Visual-CV). I made my PhD at the University of Heidelberg- Germany under the title “Nonlinear optical spectroscopy at the Liquid- / Solid- interface”. I worked from Jul.2004 t0 Aug.2005 as a researcher in the Institute for Applied Physical Chemistry (APC) - University of Heidelberg.  From Aug.2005 to Jun.2008, I worked as a researcher in the   “Institute of Nuclear wastes Disposal, Karlsruhe research Center - Germany”. I started my new missions in the  Institute of Meteorology and Climate Research (IMK), Karlsruhe research Center - Germany since 1st Jun.2008. The plan is to perform my Post doctor studies in the IMK.

I am interested in lasers, Laser technology and Laser spectroscopy. I have several years of experience with technical issues in optics, laser systems and experimental setups. In addition, the main part of my PhD work has been done on the SFG at liquid and vapor/solid interface using TIR geometry. Part of my recent work was the development of a broad band femtosecond system to be a real time spatial-and-temporal resolved sum frequency system.
